Dr. Venugopal Damerla was born and an educated in Hyderabad, India and is a practitioner of Mantra yoga and meditation since 1991. Inspired by the teachings of A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada (1896-1977) during his Medical School training, he has been teaching the science of connection between health and spiritual wellness for the last three decades and travels all over the world. He has several publications in peer reviewed medical journals and a textbook chapter to his credit and is currently a practicing physician in Golden, Colorado. He graduated from Gandhi Medical College Hyderabad, India in 1995 and also obtained MD post-graduate training in Radiation Oncology in 1999. His American board certifications are in Internal Medicine and Integrative Medicine. During his fellowship training in Oncology he had the realization that the current model of health can be of greater service to humanity when it begins at the place of inner empowerment that leads to prioritizing health creation and not solely treating the person, symptoms, and disease as separate entities. This led him to form the Prabhupada Research Institute for Integrative Medicine in 2017, a public charity organization. It is dedicated to providing a platform to explore the principles of balanced lifestyle by synergizing ancient and current systems of knowledge. Dr. Damerla is a recipient of the U.S. Best of Medicine Award- American Health Council, in January 2018 and the ICARE Medal of Excellence in Patient Advocacy-Department of Veterans Affairs.

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.
A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!
Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
